Overview 

This tutorial covers the most basic information students need to know about formatting citations and references in APA style. It should be completed after the APA Style Orientation tutorial. This Basic Tutorial does not cover APA style completely. It provides just enough information for you to begin using APA style. Faculty expect every student to have this background knowledge well before beginning work on their EDCI 590 proposal. However, in order to competently use APA style in your proposal and project, students should also do the Advanced Basic tutorial.
