Formatting Entries for Chapters in Edited Books

This section describes reference list entries for material published in edited books. Many textbooks required for M.Ed. courses are edited books. In edited books, different chapters are written by different authors. Therefore, the reference list entry is under the name of the chapter author, not the editors of the book. Nevertheless, the reference list entry describes both the chapter and the book.

Typical reference list entries for CHAPTERS IN EDITED BOOKS look like this:

Author, Year and Title of Chapter
Editors of Book
Title and Pages of Book
